True Focus Lock (“the app”, “we”) is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Specifically:

  • Your session intentions, durations, history, and streak data are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. We never transmit this to any server we operate, because we don’t operate one.
  • We do not require or offer account creation or login of any kind.
  • We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
  • We do not collect your name, email, location, or any other personal information.

Notifications

The app schedules local notifications (session reminders, check-ins) directly on your device using Apple’s and Google’s standard notification frameworks. These are generated and delivered entirely on-device and are never sent through any server of ours.

Live Activity / Dynamic Island (iOS)

If you use an iPhone that supports Live Activities, the app may show your active session’s progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. This uses Apple’s ActivityKit framework and all data shown stays on-device.

Subscriptions and payment

If you purchase True Focus Lock Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple (via StoreKit) or Google (via Play Billing), depending on your device. We never see or store your payment details — Apple and Google handle that according to their own privacy policies:

We do receive confirmation from Apple/Google that a purchase was completed, so the app can unlock Premium features — this does not include any payment card details.

Children’s privacy

True Focus Lock is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, since it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
